Fragile Balance – I

There is a life that goes unnoticed—so small that it seems to only brush against our gaze. A click beetle, clinging to the tip of a leaf, paused in my light. Motionless, suspended between the shadow and the brilliance of the green, it became, for the span of a shutter release, the center of a world.

The entire image plays with chiaroscuro: the insect emerges from the dimness, its dark body hemmed with golden highlights, surrounded by that deep green which seems to breathe. A work for collectors who know that beauty is also revealed in the most infinitesimal.

Fine Art pigment print under plexiglass with a 4 mm solid black oak ArtBox frame

Produced as a Fine Art pigment print and presented under plexiglass, this work combines richness of detail with a singular radiance. The plexiglass presentation intensifies the contrasts and brings depth and presence to the image: the deep greens gain density, the click beetle seems to emerge into the foreground, and every golden reflection is accentuated.

The piece is presented in a 4 mm solid black oak ArtBox frame — a sober, real-wood frame that elegantly encloses the image and emphasizes its contemporary character. Its 35 mm depth, impressive when viewed from the side, gives it a sculptural presence on the wall. A built-in hanger on the back allows for simple and discreet wall mounting.
